Terms of Service

These Terms govern access to and use of AgentCost. By subscribing to or using the service, you agree to them.

1. The service

AgentCost provides AI request routing, usage measurement, budget controls, client API keys, cost estimates, savings estimates, and related dashboards. Features may evolve as the service develops.

2. Accounts and credentials

You must provide accurate information, keep credentials and API keys confidential, and promptly report suspected misuse. You are responsible for activity performed using your credentials.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use AgentCost to violate law, infringe rights, distribute malware, bypass provider safeguards, gain unauthorised access, disrupt systems, or process data you are not authorised to use.

4. Customer responsibilities

You are responsible for your prompts, data, AI provider accounts, model configuration, outputs, end users, and compliance obligations. You must independently review AI output before relying on it for material decisions.

5. Third-party services

AgentCost depends on third-party services including AI providers and Stripe. Their availability, pricing, models, terms, and outputs are outside our control. Your use of them may be governed by separate terms.

6. Estimates and budgets

Costs and savings shown by AgentCost are estimates based on available usage data, configured assumptions, and provider pricing. They may differ from final provider invoices. Budget controls reduce risk but are not a guarantee against every charge, delay, retry, provider-side event, or configuration error.

7. Subscription and renewal

AgentCost Pro costs €29 per month unless a different price is shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Taxes may apply. Stripe processes payment. You may manage or cancel the subscription through the billing portal.

8. Cancellation, withdrawal, and refunds

Cancellation stops future renewals and access normally continues through the paid period. Refund and withdrawal requests are handled under our Refund and Cancellation Policy and any mandatory consumer law.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features for security, legal, provider, or operational reasons.

10. Intellectual property

AgentCost and its software, design, and branding remain ours or our licensors'. You retain rights in content you lawfully submit. You grant us the limited rights required to process that content and provide the service.

11. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. AgentCost does not provide legal, financial, tax, or investment advice and does not guarantee specific savings or business results.

12. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, AgentCost is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, AI output, provider outages, or unauthorised credential use. For paid business users, total liability arising from the service is limited to fees paid for the service during the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, fraud, security threats, illegal use, non-payment, or risk to the service or others. Where reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy.

14. Governing rules

These Terms are governed by the law applicable to the AgentCost operator, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence. Courts with mandatory jurisdiction remain available.
